CORPORATE BACKGROUND


Water Resources Management Associates, Inc. has served its valued clients throughout the states of Florida, Maryland and the District of Columbia for nearly twenty years. Originally founded in Stuart, Florida in 1997 as a Hispanic owned certified small business minority enterprise (SBE/MBE/DBE), WRMA was formed with the ambition of providing professional engineering services in all fields of water resources engineering, not only to large corporate, state and municipal institutions, but also to the thousands of local and private companies, organizations and individuals that make up the brunt of American small business.

WRMA currently provides a broad array of professional engineering services to a diverse spectrum of clients both in the public and private sectors ranging from major utilities and regulatory institutions to local property management and real estate development firms. Over the years, WRMA has represented local and regional public clients at the city, county and district tiers as well as agency and institutional clients at the state and federal levels.

In keeping with its philosophy of a having a diverse clientele, WRMA takes a unique approach to every client’s needs. WRMA engineers tailor solutions to their client’s budget and timeline by ensuring project efficiencies are in place to provide the client with maximum value and a product outcome that is both of the highest possible quality and client satisfaction.

In addition to the firm’s core water resources and civil engineering design capabilities, WRMA has provided professional engineering consulting services to numerous public works programs, including municipal Capital Improvement Programs (CIP's) and Florida's Special and Water Management Districts - Operations & Management (O&M) programs. The firm’s experience in capital asset management programs range from coordination of project development and permitting processes, to technical review and inspection services for specifically assigned projects. As such, WRMA provides program management support and staff augmentation services for various capital asset program entities.

From managed stormwater and drainage infrastructure to the rehabilitation of the Florida Everglades, water resources are an integral part of our society but they also present some of the most complex and challenging civil and environmental engineering problems in American infrastructure today. Since 1997, WRMA has tackled these difficult problems and has had great success in implementing innovative solutions for its clients. It is the firm’s intention to continue this tradition of serving our clients well into the next decade and beyond.
